Well after a long Winter today I was able to get out for a long ride and evaluate my new subject screen. I will say that for me the trophy screen is perfect solution for me. I'm am 5'9" (on a good day) and the wind hits me just below my helmet, and best of all the screen is quite unlike the BWM touring screen. As I've noted before the quality of the screen is very good and I did not have any fitment issues. On another note while out riding I had to cut my ride short because it appears my cam chain tensioner bolt is leaking oil.

I did the same, unfortunately it does not work for me. If I move the headlight out the fairing can not be seated around the headlight. If I remove the headlight I can lift the fairing such that it does not touch the tank. So I can choose riding without lamp but with fairing or the other way around

I am pretty convinced that there is something wrong with the fairing I have.

Finally got in touch with someone reasonable at Wunderlich. I expect to receive advice or a replacement item.

I found a solution to my odissey with the Wunderlich fairing. I have installed a steering stop from Touratech. It shortens the steering movement just as much as needed in order for the fairing not to touch anymore the gas tank.

I am using the Wudo, and it is fine with me.
It was expensive and just horrible to mount properly but it does protect a bit over the shoulders and I like the classic look.
A question of taste I guess.

I'll toss this in. i think in the end I'll want the Wunder fairing, but this is what I've done n the interim.
Had the tall CE Baileys on the bike when i got it. About two miles of that hell and I turned around and took it completely off.
Traded it for a later CE Bailey 18" screen which is bearable but not desirable IMO.

I bought this bike to be naked. Traded off an R12RT uber-tourer for it.
So I found a used OEM flyscreen, painted the interior black and it did what I wanted and expected.

Th RT had an MRA spoiler on it, and it worked perfect.
Now called the X-creen, (a new version), I spent the cash to experiment with it.
Now, this is a bag o parts in a box, with really lacking instructions.
For the price you pay it should come read to use.

I opted for the clamp-on version, (it's an experiment).
What I've done is clamp it on the sport screen.
I could look better, but it does help when using the flyscreen.
Most often at speed it helps create more of a still pocket with the flyscreen.

Outside of the assembly, it works well for me. Downside it's a tad flimsy compared to the original model which was made of heavy plexiglass.
This is a molded plastic about half the thickness of the original.
With the spindly arms and thin(er) plastic it has something to be desired...
I've attempted to beef it up with door edging.

Not the do-all be-all solution, but a solution anyhow.
