Here's a picture of mine on this year's Round Britain Rally.
Crinan Harbour, Argyle and Bute, Scotland.
A beautiful place and a beautiful ride to get there....Oh Yes!

While looking for a replacement for my total-loss Rockster (which has been replaced by an '95 R1100R for the time being), the tradesman I bought my bike from had just sold this wonderfull Rockster-like R1200R

Beautiful bike!
I love the orange, it's a nice break from the oh so boring standard colors!

Not exactly the colours I would choose, but the headlight conversion (from AC-Schnitzer:
http://www.ac-schnitzer.de/no_cache/en/ ... 1#zoom1479 ; don't like that colours either ) is awesome.
Planned to do this with my Rockster, still have the headlight, but not the Rockster.
Still don't understand why BMW don't make a version like this themselves; the R1200 Rockster (yes, I am and will always be a Rockster-fan !)

Spent a nice morning riding with my sons and their friends. They on downhill skateboards, me on the roadster. Tunnel Road in Berkeley Hills. About 4 miles of downhill twisties. I had GoPro cameras on front and back of the R and we got some nice footage.
(Cellphone pic. Next time I'll bring a camera!)

Here today was one of the really great days for So Cal. Warm, but not too warm, clear and well, a good day to ride. It sucks here a lot of the year, but this is the payoff.
Hang in there, I'm sure Spring is just around the corner....

It's a Wunderlich Trophy. Discussed quite a bit elsewhere on this forum. To add my small piece to all of the posts - its expensive, it does not cause buffeting or additional noise, it only gives minimal protection, and it's too cool for me to pass up
