My R1200R mostly to show the fairing which is an eBay special for a Yamaha that cost under fifty bucks delivered.
This is my first venture towards the more sensible end of BM's having run anything from Adventures to HP2's in the past and I have to say it is brilliant, is used at least 5 days a week and so far the only time it 'let me down' was when the ignition key froze in the lock last winter, I guess that is natures way of saying take the car tomorrow... I also removed the main stand before I ground it away.
I opted for the add-on packs mostly for the ABS and ESA and they both make a good difference, I always ride with it set to two-up which raises the ride height which I prefer having come away from tall bikes.
Great bike!...and yes I know it needs cleaning
EDIT - Just realised this is my first post, since I joined the week I got the bike last year so Hi All!

I couldn't live with any of the factory colours (talk about uninspiring....apologies to those who like them - it's just my opinion) so I had the dealer get the bike sprayed lava orange which is a standard colour option on the K1300R and S and the F800GS. Colours are a matter of taste, but I love it.
Already fitted an SW Motech Alurack with Givi adapter, 1200GS handguards (didn't need the home-made bracket that most people seem to use) and a touring screen. Waiting for a comfort seat to arrive to keep the wife happy on the back. Future plans include an exhaust I can actually hear
Sorry, no arty settings, but here it is:
The paint looked better in the sun, but this is England.......

Sproggy that is re-frigging -markable!! And you say your dealer did it for you/ WOW!!
I like it!

Did it work out pretty good buying the demo? My local dealership has one that I am considering but you always kind of wonder how many idiots took it for a ride.

Here's a photo for all you freaky bondage types: my 2008 R1200R tied down to the deck of the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun Ferry for the crossing of the Georgian Bay. It was pitching and rolling pretty good on Lake Huron with all the strong wind last week so the knots were tied extra tight. No squirming. General route map (I mostly stayed on the back roads):

Yoshi, what's kind of wind shield do you have on your R1200? I like the color matching both wind shield and side bags, it look awesome, me like it!

Not a Parabellum Bill. Those city lids are also not the ones that are available in the US, they look like better quality.

thanks, Kavan. the fairing is Wudo's. You can order direct. check their website.
http://www.wuedo.de - The number is 46-63-89-40. I love my blue color, too

to be honest, the blue I painted comes from SUBARU Legacy "atlantic blue peal". it makes many different blues by sunlight! the saddle bags have thinner lids which are made in Japan. Yoshi

Yoshi,
Could you take a photo of the fairing/instrument panel..? Just curious how it looks from the riders perspective..
