No problem with the 45's so far. I installed the smallest accellerator pump jets before I even bolted them on and they work fine. The pilot jets seem to be the right size and I will put it on the road tomorrow to test the mains. They came with 175 main jets and that might be a little too rich but, there were no flat spots up to the redline just riding around the block. I wasn't able to hold it at speed for long so tomorrow should tell. I will run about 20 miles and come back and check the plugs.
Chris recommended the 45's because he has one with them on it. Says it runs great even at high altitude.
I guess I will bolt some wings on mine and find out
The motor started out as an 1100 and has been upgraded to 1150 with higher compression. It starts easier than FI with the enricher buttons pulled out. Once it warms up, even easier and finally a nice even idle. I had to shorten the idle adjuster and choke actuator. Both came as a long flexible cable attached to the carb.
