Right turn and cancel switches not working?

Seems like a rubbery, stretchier tie would be better than the hard plastic zip ties. They would not last as long, but would not cut the wires.

My right switches quit this past spring as well. My 04 is still under warranty so the dealer replaced the whole switch. Interesting about the broken wire. My zip-ties were very tight when new, but I have since cut and replaced most of them. Cheap insurance against hassles.

just did the excision of the central tie. what makes this worse is that the central tie was fixed to the horn bracket. removing it, the cable bundle still has a memory of the fixation spot. I hope that over time this corrects itself.
