Thanx for all the good feedback!
I'm gonna get them...no doubt
Just need a bit more time to rationalize the whole thing...

The E52N is 52 ltr. this is as big as both system cases (without the lowererd pipe). and the best part is that when I open it, all my stuff doesn't fall out:)..
But really, you can do the trunk with mounting for about $300, give or take. and if you lane split at all, it is alot easier.

I assume you need the BMW rack to mount it to? That'll drive the price up quite a bit.

The website for Givi indicates that the hardware kit sr683 for the top case requires the BMW rack. I can't speak from experience, but I like the idea of a bigger trunk - thus the reason for my visit to the website.

I guess I forgot the side rails.
I have the wing rack for the trunk, which I belive givi stopped selling. Now you have to get the plate that goes between the side rails.
Luckily I got my rails used from the famous (or is it infamous?) Patrick for a pretty good deal when he sold off is extras about 2 years ago.
I actually had the trunk installed by the dealer when I bought the bike, with everything it was just under $400.00. At the time almost half the price of the side cases and the same storage.

I have an extra set of square side rails for our bike. They're officially for the 1100R, but I like the look better. It's without the hand grips.
$50 shipped.

Got mine on EBay last winter for $450.00 with grab/mount bars & luggage bridge!
You just have to be paitent (it also helps to do it in the off-season).
I had one pretty good scuff on the left lid so I put some reflective material over that spot on 'both' lids. Problem solved!

That's what I did also. No use for the grab rails or small rack. Actually, mine came from a GS. Same thing and also $50 used.
