Out riding it has to be light beer. Oh well, I like my license.
With no responsibilities for riding/driving I don't mind trying a few.
Home grown the king is VB, Vic Bitter, Victoria Bitter. VB!
Of the smaller beereries I have always liked a Dog Bolter from Perth.
Steinlager (NZ) is a nice drop also. There are many others.
Whilst is the UK my favourite was Theakstons ol' peculiar. I'll buy Newcastle Brown here sometimes. I like that!
I can't remember my favourite Euro beer. The pints in Prague were nectar at 50c!!! I lost some cells there!...memory cells that is.
With dinner tonight I had some glorious Chateau Cardboard. Quaffed it like cordial. Brisk young vintage (Nov '05) and dry enough to make my lips stick together
Scotch...I like Dalwhinnie single malt. Oh yes...I think I'll have one now, neat. First though I must get a mirror as I never drink by myself!
For a cool night at the footy I sometimes take a hip flask of 1:1 Drambuie and scotch (not the Dalwhinnie) which has its own vital attractions. It's fine with a JW red or some such blend. Try it sometime.
