Biff=Jeff

I have been Biff at work for about 10 years, since I wore a "Get Stiff with Biff" t shirt out to the bar one night. Biff was Biff America from Summit County Colorado.

Like my surname, my "handle" is a bastardization of a true name. When I was a senior in high school, I completed and submitted the order form for my final high school yearbook. In a case of someone's inability to read, or my inability to write clearly, I was delivered a yearbook, with my first name indelibly embossed in beautiful gold leaf, "Cric". Among my small circle of friends, the name transformed into variations such as "cricklets", "crinkle cric", "creeek", and most commonly "cricman". My first name is Eric, given by my mom, after the viking, "Eric the Red". I had reddish -brown hair at birth (Scots-Irish linneage). If any of you DFW area riders see a silver R with gloss black case lids (I'm thinking of calling it the "War Hammer" to keep with the viking theme. After all, there are at least 2 shields (roundels) hung from her sides, like a true long boat!) , being ridden by a viking-sized oaf with a red beard, yell "cric". I'm actually a lot friendlier than I look.

Jamais, you all can call me Alan. As for Jamais, its not a sex lube. Actually its a play on french, "Ne Jamais" translated means "never". As in "Never give out your real name."

My Mum and Keith Haynes call me Nigel, everyone else calls me Nige.

Fossil is a nickname based on my surname Foster. These days it's seems quite suitable for the silver-haired guy who has appeared in the mirror of late.

My name is malcolm, the second m illustrates my stutter. Na... not really, my last name is mckay... and yes, I do have a stutter.

and... I sit around in my undies tapping away at my computer and occasionally put on some more formal gear and go for a ride :)

I agree, first names work for me.

I am late to this thread but so many on the board already know my name and use it, any hope for being anonymous is long gone! :wink: It is even in the title to a thread on Off Topic! :?

Brakecheck here. Got the nickname from trail riding buddies who admired my aggressive riding style :lol: Feel free to call me Dana but, please remember that I am a guy and not a gal; I don't want any more creepy requests for pictures of me sitting on my RR!! Oh yeah, I will also accept being called "Dave" by the confused.

Couldn't agree more, Dave.

Internet anonymity has always seemed kinda chickensh*t to me.

And thankfully, we have very little of that on this board.

I am, just for the record, George H. Steele.
