NEVER had that happen, any tires. Other bikes, fronts almost double the rears.
Seems to be the modern way. My 1200RT was delivered on Michelin Pilot Roads, & a colleague told me the front would wear first.
"Yeah, right" I thought, but he was right & I was wrong. Front went first.
Dunlop Roadsmarts 1 & 2, & Conti Road Attacks, all seem to go as a pair

Carlos, thanks for the info on the Continentals. I may get a set of them since Iron Pony has them for less than $150 for the set. I don't think my current rear tire will make it to the Bash and back(especially since it usually rains when I ride through West Virginia).

500 miles....Contimotions are doing just fine. I like them so far. surprisingly, even take hard corners well.
