I do!!!! lol
Back when I had my FZ1, I actually had helmet speakers..i was still younger.
there were a couple songs that made me turn into a hamfisted, throttle wrenching moron...you know,
casual cruise, song comes on, look down, youre doing 100 on one wheel LOL part of why let the bike go, it wasn't fun to casually cruise.
heres a few of those songs:
beastie boys: sabotage
metallica: stone cold crazy(cover of queen song I think better)
dropkick murphys: gonna be a blackout
misfits: where eagles dare (this one still has the effect)
danzig: mother
suicidal tendencies: cant bring me down
also, pretty much ANY Pantera song is naughty for this.
these are all whats in my head now.
My apple devices are full of kids' songs now. And I just cant get into the knee-dragging spirit listening to Katy Perry-her music makes me want to stab my ears out.
But I really don't mind looking at her....hee-hee.

...another perspective to the ongoing subject. I do have a tendency to change the music in my ears especially when it starts to rain. Unconciously music changes to "slippery when wet" and then with a constant rate of rain to soft rock and oldies !

So yesterday I am riding from College Station, Tx to New Orleans, backroads mostly, and I am right on the edge of that nasty front coming in, 37-42 and raining, truck tires w lots of spray. I went to one of the classical stations on XM. Sibellius was too much but Bach was just right. I wanted something that didn't distract. Bach does that for me.
No classical on my MP3 player, but songs collected mostly from Eclectic 24 on KCRW (the best radio station in the world) ranging from pop to electronic to Hank Williams (Sr), German, French, Brasilian, etc. Current favs Ditty Bops, Portugal-The Man, Dan Bern, Jim McMurtry. Some James Booker, Monk, Prof Longhair. I avoid the 80s and 90s (except for Talking Heads). Listen to a little 50's and 60's, Less 70's. Everyone's mileage varies on this one.

The Allman Brothers - Midnight Rider.
Tom Petty - Runnin' Down a Dream
Blue Oyster Cult - Transmaniacon MC (the only song on my list that's actually about motorcycling.)
If you arent familiar with it, check out Willie Nelson's version of Midnight Rider. As much as I love the 'Brothers', Willie's version is better.
Riders on the storm is great to ride to.
Another favorite is the Government Mule version of "30 days in the hole". On the other hand, it seems like the last few times Ive rolled along with this one playing, I have executed illegal moves.....such a passing on solid line. Whoops.

I'd be careful here, the NSA monitors this site ... you don't want someone showing up to provide you with a ticket regarding such behavior.

Riders is a great tune. Pat Metheny's American Garage is probably one of the best "travel" albums.

- little wing/Jimi Hendrix; sweet ride on highway

I just re- discovered the " Outlaws" Ghost Riders in The Sky and some more of their favorites. Also listening to a lot of the "Ventures" forgot how many hits they had.
Fun stuff

I'm enough of a pessimist just to be glad when the boxer's music starts. Well that's a tune in itself.
In the clearing stands a boxer
And a fighter by his trade etc. (Paul Simon)

You know....There really is something about the boxer's note. It's not "awesome" like a rumbly V8 or screaming s1000 with a pipe on it.... nor does it make you turn into teenager... Just makes me smile, and It sort of puts you in a zone of focus, think: the snare drum corps in a revolutionary war march.
As of late, the more Iv'e gotten used to this bike, iv'e started to be more into calm music while riding. I find myself getting lost in Neil Young, Mazzy Star(an old fave)and more surprisingly, Enya. It's Incredibly peaceful. It will sometimes feel like I'm watching a montage of my own life lol. I still make time for the energetic music i previously mentioned though.
I am taking this as a direct sign of AGE. ride safe, folks.
