Regarding Deer, here in San Diego we have to go fairly far inland to have the threat of them jumping out in the road night or day. I have been in Idaho and Montana driving at night on curvy roads and driving is an invitation to deer disaster for sure.
Don, I'm pretty sure your paranoia has served you well. Cagers seem to be either angry, crazy or asleep at the wheel. I think they can look right at a motorcycle headlights, glowing pink helmet, 6" orange reflective discs on garments head to toe, and they still don't see motorcycles.

... except if it's a police motorcycle, which they seem to see just fine.

Amazing, isn't it.

Good roads,

White motorcycles are a great defensive device. Especially RT/P's where the police use them ! As are police style jackets !

How about the new K1600 lamps? Looks like the automotive and motorcycle engineers had lunch together !

Adaptive headlights like my X5, complete with bank angle adjustment to fill in the dark spots =D>

Add to the white bike and the hi-viz Air Shell jacket a white helmet, amber LEDs on the forks, and a motorcade town, and it's no wonder autos unexpectedly slow down in front of me. Took me awhile to figure out, but I guess that's what ABS is for.
