@ spoon. I'll totally trade my standard seat for your low seat. Please let me know how we can arrange it.

@ LionLady : How in the heck do I fill in my profile? (I'm supposed to be a Techie! Arrrgh!)

Hi, @ spoon, I picked up the bike this weekend -i'll post pictures later, it appears to have the low seat on it. I was wondering if you new how to tell for sure. I'll post pictures tonight so that its a bit easier to judge.

Thanks all for the support and directions. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE it! Rode her back from Virginia Beach and then took her out for a spin on sunday, O my, what false things words are when they are all we have for description! I have since ridden my Hornet, just to keep the love, I'd hate for Japs and Germans to lock horns in my backyard...

Behold, her fairness
Beauty beyond words
Poise beyond description
Oh what fickle imagination
Should dare this fair dame to conjure

For I myself was sore smitten
From her sides full breasts did every demand meet
With every stroke my innards convulsed atop her combustion chambers
Such love, among men untold till now.....

...Looks like a high seat to me. Certainly not the lowest. :-k

That's interesting cos now I'm hopeful I can get even more comfortable on 'Pegasus'. I'm doing 'the half-cheek' now, ie, favoring one feet and hiking up the other, which isn't half bad but if I can pull of an even swap for a low seat that's even better.

Thanks NoRRmad!

My low seat rises about four inches from the low point to the top edge of that rise in the front -- which, in your shot, is maybe an inch. This could possibly be a medium seat, but I think it's a high one. The seat is a pop-it-in, thirty-second change; if your dealer has a low seat in stock, he'd probably let you try it, answer all your questions in a minute.

kobe- that's the high seat for sure on your new Citrus Rockster. R1150R Rocksters were equipped with the high seat as standard equipment.

As mentioned, the R1150R Roadster "low" seat is a 1-minute swap (NOT 30-seconds, because I always turn the key in wrong direction, inadvertantly opening the helmet lock, must press lock ring back in place, then twist key in reverse to pop off the pillion seat or cover)...

Seat options are discussed here in a dozen+ threads. Just search for more opinions.

For my use, the R1150R low seat is too low. I have a 30" inseam (short legs for 6ft guy) but prefer a mid-height solution like Sargent seat.

Thanks Sweatmark, I'm planning on heading out to confirm at the 'Stealership' this weekend, I'll let you all know how that works out after I get around to it. I'll post an invitation for an even swap with a 'worthy candidate' low seat and see how that goes. The current seat option like I've said earlier is 'rideable', its just that half-way decent isn't quite enough for a 'thorough-bred' like this Lime-queen!

I've got a low seat on my Rock for everday riding and a Sargent that I use on long trips. I traded a high (maybe standard-don't remember) seat for the low from someone on here so I could be flat footed at rest. When loaded up or with passenger I use the sargent. And yes it is far more comfortable for rider and passenger.
