The problem of the stock seat is with the injection mechanism.

Or rather there is a problem with the Independet Upholsterers Interest Group.
These people, also infamously known as the M ost A rse-F riendly I ndustry A ssociation, have bribed and intimidated the BMW seat designers into intentionally making the seat slightly uncomfortable to increase their profit.
That's capitalism for you....
