This sad news has brought me out of the woodwork.

Tragic to hear of yet another motorcyclist losing their life on the road. My thoughts go to Nancy and Scott's family. Scott's mum and dad have done it tough.

You guys are splendid and I'm proud to part of this community.

I enjoyed Scotts posts especially the way he resolved the Rockster issue. He had a colorful and resilliant attitude, perserverance and he lived life fully. A person can't do any better especially when there are those close to him that loved him, it speaks well of a life well lived.

My deepest condolences to Nancy & family.

Over the last two weeks, late at night, when I would read all that was written about Scott I have learned of a whole community out there. I know that Scott or Yahoo-Boy, as you knew him, was proud to be a part of. I have found comfort in the words of all of you. I do not blame a motorcycle for what happened to Scott. I know he loved riding, and as bad as I miss him, life is too short not to do the things we love. We had that conversation many times. I appreciate your thoughts, kind words, and prayers. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Again, thank you for comforting me in the darkest time of my life. Nancy

I'm honored to be able to be the person that responds directly after Nancy to let her and the rest of Scott's friends and family know that he and they continue to be in other's "thoughts and prayers." Godspeed to you.

I'm 30. Just turned in June. Shoot this hits close to home. Coulda just as easily been me.

Between this and just reading about Dallara (I lost my mom a year ago) tonight there seems to be a spotlight on the fact that life sure can kick our asses - but as so many here have already said - for those left behind - one of the greatest tributes we can honor those who went before us with, is taking advantage of the time we do have.

Can we put his avatar someplace on the pages in his memory?

I too, am in my 30s...32 to be exact and Yahoo-Boy's unfortunate accident sent chills throughout my body.

I apologise for not contributing sooner but I’ve not been around the forum for a while. I can only echo the kind words and sentiments expressed here and pass my heart felt condolences on to Nancy and her family.

Human nature is a curios thing, we love and we fight in equal measure. We have days of intolerance and days where the whole world seems wonderful. We focus on the smallest of problems that seem insurmountable at the time and it takes a tragedy such as this to put everything back in prospective and make us realise just how lucky we are.

My wife and I are very close and have been together for 22 years, if I lost her I don’t know how I would cope and yet I ride my bike every day knowing full well the risk.

I really am asking my self now is it worth it? The more I ride the more I see people that just don’t think of anyone but them selves, people reading news papers whilst driving, people on their mobile phones. If they crash they just walk away and our families are left to pick up the pieces.

It is very sobering indeed.

Nancy I wish you all the very best for the future and hope you take some solace in the love of your family.
