I am thinking about doing a little camping somewhere Thursday night. Either near Gettysburg, or SW of Charleston, or at Watoga. Anyone else interested?

I have already written Watoga regarding just that and they doubted that there would be a puacity of avialable sites Thursday - Sunday, and no reservations were necessary for camping.
Weather permitting, those are my plans.

Breakfast

Post by MikeCam »

Gang,

At the Old Clark Inn/Dirt Bean the breakfast part of the B&B is not in force for our weekend unless we all (100%), 22/22, etc sign on. Cost will be $5 per person per day (Saturday and/or Sunday).

I need to tell Nelson now in order for him to plan the groceries, and the effort.

There are other sources of sustenance within walking distance.

Early risers, of course, demand coffee.

So what say ye?

What time will the coffee be ready? If it is at sunrise; I vote for breakfast both days.

I need to eat something for breakfast, and I'm sure I'll eat somewhere. If the Inn has food in the morning, I'll eat there.

Put me down for breakfast at the Inn...both days if needed. But I can go either way, whatever the consensus is.

I'll join you. I didn't know if I could do so since I am camping, but I guess Boxer answered the question.
Both days would be fine.

David,
I'm only camping the one Thursday night. I have a room at the Inn for Friday and Saturday.
But you should still be able to join us for breakfast. I don't know. Mike will know for sure.

Mark me down for breakfast both days. As to coffee for the early risers, I believe I remember the coffee machine going quite early when I stayed there last year!

Well that will work fine too, Phil.
Mike? What say ye? Will I be able to do all the meals with the "Inn" crowd? If so, can I pay you in advance by Paypal or do I pay them there?
If not, I'll join you all on the curves.
Sorry guys, but I've camped all my life and prefer it. No offense.

Wish I could vote. But since I can't go, I'll just stay home and eat peanut butter and drink cold coffee and wonder why WV is so far away from Texas.

Mike,
YAHOO!

GypsyRR,
You obviously have the "low" seat :smt082

About the distance, When Texas became a state in 1845 they petitioned to be placed contiguously as far from West Virginia as possible becasue the men there were divorcing their sisters at such an alarming rate. And also because the toothbrush was invented in WV. Yes, the toothbrush. If it had been invented in Texas it would have been the teethbrush.

Now that's funny.
I always say to my wife,"I gotta go brush my TOOTH, with my TOOTHbrush."

One day I'll be able to say that and it won't be a joke.

Not as good as the girl last year. I may see her at breakfast tomorrow on my way to Holt BMW for their Open House. :D
