I have not financial interest in this, just thought some of you might want to get these while they are clearing out old stock. They were very user friendly and easy to deal with and quick shipping.

JUST had this installed in mine....
There's a couple of quirks I think it fair to let you know. Confirmed via phone call to tech-support at Kissan...
Your factory hazard-light button on your left handgrip becomes disabled, though it remains back-lighted. You must now activate your hazards Harley-style by pressing both turn-signal paddles at once.
Your green dashboard signal indicators now remain lit at all times. However, they still continue to blink to indicate either signal.
You can disable your signals old-school as usual{; but, the switch on MY bikeseems to be somewhat reluctant at times}. Or, you can just press the left or right paddle itself to turn-off that indicator. That's what I've adapted to.
Speaking of that signal cancellation button...
When you press it, it turns OFF the indicators. Press and HOLD, and they stay off. Thus, you can flash them, or 'modulate' them as you can with low rocker position of your headlamp switch. Just keep thumbing the cancel switch and make them wink and blink.
There's an optional part in the kit which will interrupt the auto-cancel feature as long as you're applying the brakes. For instance, you have it set it for 10secs. You apply your signal approaching the turn lane, but you have to brake in preparation. Even though you've had the signal ON for over 10 secs, each time you are on the brakes it iterrups the timer. It then picks-up where it left off. Nice touch.
Lastly, the signal lamp housings get HOT, but not hot enough to burn you, LOL. However, the tech support rep said that they will not melt the housing. No problem in thousands of kits, supposedly.
All in all, the improved visibility is WELL worth the quirks, IMHO.

Thanks for the input on the "qwirks". I talked with Keith at Creative Cycle Concepts today and asked about the various qwirks. He agreed with everything posted here and also included the sm-5 can also act as a dimmer for the dash lights. He said you can adjust down the dash light brightness so if the indicator lights being on bother or you have concerns about them being on all the time, you can turn the brightness down. I asked if having the signal indicator lights on all the time would burn them out. He did not think it a problem. Keith has been great to work with. I found some PIAA 1000-C lights he was selling on Ebay and he figured out how to add some shims to make a Martin mount bracket he had on sale work for the 1150R. Highly recommend this company for all the great custom service he has helped me with.
