Hi All.
I have acquired an 11 mb Quick Time movie of the new R 1200 R.
The movie shows the new R being ridden through some lovely scenery on lovely roads, and also shows luggage options etc.
How can I share this movie with everyone?

Do you have a link to a site that it came from?

Go to
http://www.youtube.com and post it - you may have to "join", but it's free. Then, post the link here.
OR.... email me the video, and I'll post it. I'm on DSL, so 11meg won't take long.

Hi DJ.
No, the movie was given to me on a disc.
Hi collyers.
I'll try that now.

Thanks, now I just need to wait for a test ride. Of course, I'm not sure it will sway me away from one of the new K bikes at crunch time.

Thanks for posting it....is it just me or does it look a little like the old R1100R at a first glance.
The sound seems a little deeper.
It's a shame that guy couldn't move his arse on the seat and get stuck into those corners.

Very nice!
I like that bike.
Naked, 109hp, 50 lbs lighter?, handles like the R...
The most versatile do it all bike just got better.

DJ,
+1 on the "looks like the 1100R"
I keep getting that feeling when I look at the pictures. Glad it's not just me.

lack of the flare from the oil cooler maybe??? I kinda see it but after looking at my R1100 its not as blatant to me...

It looks like you still have to use bag mounts for the cases. Would have been nice if they were integral like the k12r and the r12st/rt.

The bag mounts are just like the R1200RT/ST and the GT, uses the same bags also.

You don't have to buy extra mounts for the st or the new k bikes. It clearly shows in the vid that an extra bracket needs to be added to install cases and the bracket is listed in the acc list.
