Hi,
I have been riding with my girlfriend lately for nice summer evening drives. My 50R is set up with a corbin one piece seat with back rest and a BMW touring screen. By myself this setup is perfect but with my girl on the back, she is sitting up way to high and has to like lean down to talk to me PLUS the wind is deflected from the screen right to her face since she is up higher.
SO, I wanted to see if there was another seating option. Also I really don't want to put a huge windshield (I like the curves and size of the bmw touring screen) so I was also wondering if the laminar lip makes much of a difference.
Thanks,
Andrew

I had a Laminar lip on my BMW touring screen. I didn't like it. It made the screen bounce like mad, which it never had done before and I did not notice any difference even mounting it several different ways. Some people swear by them, so it may be more based on how you sit and how tall you are. I am 6' and it didnt help. I sitll have the factory seat set up and my wife never complained when she rode with me, she is 5'10". I took the tour screen off and found it much quieter being in the clean air, but I got tired quicker fighting the air. I bought a sport screen off ebay, it uses the same mounts as the touring screen. It is quieter and a nice blend between no screen and the touring. When winter comes back, I will put on the tour screen for the added weather protection. Dont if that helps, but that's my experience.
Good luck
