I asked my dealer a couple of years ago about brake fluid changes regarding bikes with ABS and the fact that the Clymer manual says it has to be done by BMW with a 'special' tool...............my dealer (a main BMW dealer) simply explained that he didn't have the tool himself and that generally just bleed the brakes the way you would as if there was no ABS. My specific question at that time was related to my K1 but I also asked him about my R1100gs and he said the same.
