Fuel Pump/Filter Asembly Question
Can someone tell me what the two little hoses go to that run up into the tank from the fuel pump assembly...The ones you have to disconnect to replace the O-ring?
I rode it week before last, all over west Texas. This past week has been a week of working on everything just about. I'm almost done. Got the fuel filter changed out today and finished up tidying all the wires up from the light project. Tomorrow after work I'll check the valve adjustments and put in the new plugs. Then Tuesday afternoon it's ride-around-to get-her-hot time so I can change out the oil and filter and the final drive fluid...and a TB synch.
Wednesday, I'll give her a bath and spiff her up a little for the weekend.

One hose comes from the filler cap area water drain hole that you see in the 9 O'Clock position when the filler cap is open. The other slightly larger one goes to the white plastic roll-over valve that shuts off the vent line to the charcoal canister center port IF the biketips over, preventing liquid fuel from entering the canister, OR other similar high fuel level conditions like overfilling the fueltank or the bikes leaning position tips the high fuel level so it submerges the "vapor only" vent opening.

If your hoses both vent to the street drain, your canister hoses are mixed up at the plastic male connectors.
