Thanks Jack---it's a stone blast to ride!
Anybody thinking of a KTM Duke or any of the new Japster & Euro Super Motards should take a close look at the MZ's...max bang for the buck.

Figured out I couldn't fit my baffles inside if I did it Dave's way so I went with the silver outside coating.
Thanks everybody for your input.

Rchop, I'd think of blacking out more of the engine to 'finish' the black look.
You can make it look 'Night-train'-like with a sweet blacked out motor.
hmmm, maybe just leave the heads chrome!

Got the pipes back this week. The aluminum coating came out pretty good.

I had an angled fin spinner black powdercoated with a BMW logo on it. I will use both...

Amazing stuff, Randy.
Let us know what (wise) magazine is going to publish this project. I'll certainly buy a copy.
(And of course brag that I was "in the loop" on that a long time ago!)

Thanks Guys.
Those choppers are real works of art DJ. I like looking at them but, I wouldn't want to ride any of them on my favorite twistys. I have only ridden the one on my website once, and that was enough!
I have only been contacted by one magazine so far about a feature and that was in the UK! I will let you know if anyone does an article in the US.

I have been trying to disguise the drab looking area beside the alternator. I also needed a place to mount a horn...here is what I came up with:
