I just recently saw a Youtube video on changing m/c tires using zipties. Wondering if any here have ever tried that method?
Wondering how that worked out.

Re: Tire changing method
I changed my front tire that way a few years back. Four very large zip ties did the trick. Very easy to do. Make sure to lubricate the tire bead going back on. Also consider replacing the valve stem.

Re: Tire changing method
Here's the video. I have a new rear tire in the garage along with a pack of big zip ties and some other odds and ends. I've changed tires with tire spoons many years ago then later used a Harbor Freight tire stand. I'll report back on this method after I'm done. Probably later this month as I want to get a few more miles out of the old tire.
