Re: Bike has died
Picked up new fuel filter, sealing ring and 2 pipe clips today from Motobins so set for at least a filter change at the weekend which hopefully might do the trick. Is there any way of checking the pump when I have the innards exposed and I presume the serviceability of the gauze bag on the pump will be obvious on inspection. I don't want to change it for no reason as its around £30! Anything else to check while everything is exposed as I dont want to have to dismantle it again untill the next filter change?
Re: Bike has died
HURRAH!!!!
Having exposed the innards of the tank relatively easy I am delighted to say that the issued stared me in the face. Cyclerob, you were spot on!! The hose from the filter to the pump had come off at the pump end. Everything looked good in there and it had obviously never been apart. Maybe the filter was blocked which caused the pipe to come off ... I guess I will never know why. Frustratingly I have replaced the filter with 2 new BMW stainless clips but cannot complete the job as I need another clip to replace the one where the pipe has come off. I will have to get one next week. I also need 2 clips to replace the ones where I have removed the breather pipes (these are smaller diameter?) ...... Still I am relieved to have found the issue and for the solution to be a simple one! I just want to get it back together now.
I will update once it is back together and maybe post some pictures (if I an work out how). Once again THANKS for all the feedback and especially Cyclerob

Re: Bike has died
I am a happy chap!! I've returned from a few days away and the new stainless hose clips were in the postbox so everything is back together and she's up and running again ..... So a happy ending and thanks to all of those who helped
As a postscript, I did have a few moments of heart failure when the euphoria of hearing her running again was replaced with despair as the engine suddenly stopped and the pump the would not run on turnin the key! I had visions of having to drain the tank once again and delve inside. Fortunately I checked the obvious first. The mototronic fuse had blown, hardly surprisingly as in my desperate attempt earlier to find the original fault I had stopped fuses and somehow ended up with a 4 amp instead of a 10 amp .... So a big sigh of relief .... And yes I did reset the TPS on replacing the fuse
Once again thanks for all the advice folks

Re: Bike has died
İt sounds me like that your fuel line is not working. İt might be messed up in the tank and fuel is not flowing. Clean all hoses from the tank till injectors with air one by one. İf hall sensor is down you should not hear any functioning device.
