quick battery question

i may have prematurely bought a new battery. while it sits here, is there anything i should do?
will i just have to charge it before i finally install it? it's a bmw exide battery.

They have good shelf life (months?) so it will wait, and yes you should charge (recomended by bat manufacturers but will work without..I charge new bats) fully before use.
