New R1200 R owner

Hello All,
I just picked up a 2008 R1200R yesterday. It is black, and has just over 12000 miles.
I also own a '74 R75/6 and a '94 R100R (also both black!)
You can say I'm partial to BMW boxers!
I went on two tours with Adriatic Moto Tours in Slovenia, the last one was in September through Slovenia, Croatia, and the Italian Alps.
Both times I rented the same '12 R1200R and really loved the way it handled, especially the twisties through the Alps!
So I found the '08 about 3 hours away and brought it home yesterday.
I've enjoyed reading the posts, and I'm sure the members will be very helpful.

In 1976/77 I drowe R75/6 in former Yugoslavia.That time I got poisoned by BMW boxer so only bike I LOVE is BMW boxer.Forever lasting love.I got my redR12R last year on april 23rd.Arrived in crate from Germany.Have 7000mls on it right now.

Just took the afternoon off from work and put my first 100 miles on the '08 R1200R. Just a little bit quicker than my '74 75/6!!!
