Thank you VanDan for the info! Am pretty exited about this.. Hadn't seen it before but never quite like the "color change" of the header pipes :)

Karamazov: thank you for the info! Good to know i wont have to drive to Vancouver for that.. ha.. although I could still use tht as an excuse for making the trip there and seeing Vancouver again ;).

Is there a wee-bit taller W/shield available for it?

Not that I know of. I have yet to try it so not sure what the wind protection/buffeting is first hand. Still about 6 weeks away

The Trophy fairing is pretty cool - I have one on my 2009. HOWEVER, it does not provide that much protection. I am 6' and I get a lot of wind in the face and a fair amount on the chest. Still, I was able to recently complete a 1700 mile trip to Big Bend with no problem. There is protection there, just not as much as the Parabellum would provide. It's just the coolest looking one IMHO, and that's the tradeoff. I bought the bike with this fairing on it already, but if I had to pick I'd take a look at the Parabellum just because of the different sized windshields available. All that being said, I wouldn't trade now knowing I'd have to match my custom paint etc.

That's my $.02

Usually that's the big struggle between 'cool' and 'practicable" Here's how I worked it out:

Great looking bike. Well thought out and executed. Makes me want to get a 2nd R12 to customize like yours.

Nicely done VanDam! The black headers really really look good....

I to have that fairing and find the it lacking in wind protection..... But it looks so good it'll stay..

My bike is an '11 that I bought used...... with every OEM and Wunderlich accessory installed.
The Wunderlich seat did't work for and is for sale as is the OEM cyl protectors. PM me if you have an interest. The seat would look great on that bike. :D

Now that I have the Trophy Fairing I am selling my Ztecknic sport & sport touring windscreens. Screens are interchangable as they use the same mounting bracket. PM me if interested. Perfect condition.

They have almost 10,000 Kms on them now and they look the same as the day I picked them up. I live in Vancouver so we our share of rain.
