I've run into a snag right off the bat installing the peg lowering kit. My usual MO.
There's virtually no slack in the brake switch wire. So I can't drop the footpeg assembly more than about a 1/2 inch.
Any tips from those who've done this successfully? Did you splice the wire? Am I missing something obvious?
Thanks for any help!

Re: Suburban machinery install question
The SM lowering kit I installed on my R12R went right in with no difficulties. Because wiring pieces should come from the supplier all at the same length, look for an extra loop or wiggle in the wiring, somewhere in the line that runs down to the switch. Perhaps cutting and refastening the inevitable ziptie fasteners would free up the excess.

Thanks! There was a nice loop of extra wire tied up behind the side panel.
