Since I am a tall guy I had to make some mods to give me more legroom. It's better, but still don't have quite enough.

1. Peg extenders - Suburban Machinery
2. Tall seat - factory, does this count as a farkle?
3. Bar risers - MV Verholen, now it needs a longer brake line.

1. A decent custom saddle: for me, a Bill Mayer

2. Remus full exhaust system: stock very heavy and too quiet for my taste

3. Techclusion fuel injection module: to make use of the new exhaust

coming, 4. Ohlins or Wilbers suspension 5. Stebel Mini Nautilus horn

Only 3??!! Well,

1) Bill Meyer saddle, 'cause I sit on it all day,

2) Cee Bailey's screen with .5" Don C tilt block, to protect me from the wind blast,

3) F800GS mirrors, 'cause I'm looking both through them and at them all the time. Of course, if you have bought a 2011/12 model you won't be desperate to get rid of your "Micky Mouse" mirrors, so

4) Wilbers (or Öhlins or HyperPro) shocks, to smooth the way and tighten the ride.

But there's always the next marvelous farkle out there waiting to entice you. Enjoy!

1.) Ceebaileys windscreen

2.) Wonderlich mirror extenders

3.) Booster plug

I have since added Beemer Buddies grip wrappers, Wonderlich throttle lock, GS hand guards.

I just ordered new suspension, not that there's anything wrong with stock, but with such a nice bike, I prefer to have matching suspension.

How could I forget these? They're (Aprilia Tuono) better than the tall seat.

I have more than three but the top three are:

Auxiliary fuse box.

USB charging plug hooked up to the fuse box. (Charges my phone and other things on long trips)

HID driving lights and brackets from Martin Fabrication.

What a great bike.

Here are just a few of my favorite things ...

1. Bar backs
2. SW-Mototech Crash bars/engine guards http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/pr ... /3076/594/
3. F800GS style mirrors.
4. Throttlemeister (invaluable for long rides)
5. Good tank bag (through connect by Motofizz)
6. Wunderlich hand guards for those cold mornings when one loses their winter gloves and must travel with summer ones ...
7. Sport screen (I just want the wind off my chest ... no worries otherwise)

For me, 1-3 are the most crucial adding in number 7 next.
