Top Box

Post by kelley »

I'd like to add a top box to my 2002 R1150R. Is this difficult to do?

Difficult's just a question of money. There are a lot of options. If you do a search on Top Box and Top Case on this site you'll get a lot of hits. The Givi Monokey with integrated rack seems to be the easiest, cheapest option if you don't have a stock luggage rack, but there are many.

also, check out Hepco Becker. They make a rack that is plug and play with the BMW side rails used for BMW cases.

I have this on my bike, and I love it. Twisted Throttle has numerous mounting options; our R's use a modified Givi rack...
