Today Is My R's First Birthday

Post by rockbottom »

20523 miles. That's actually a bit under what I expected--I had to cancel a couple of multiday trips and have lost several weekends in the last month due to writing deadlines.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects handlebars to the saddle.

20k miles! Wow!

The most I've ever driven in a year (car+bike combined) is about 12K. I've averaged about 8k/yr for the past five years. That'll probably rise since I now hop on the R for pointless rides to nowhere and back.

Just doing my best to have Peak Oil Day arrive quicker.
