Does somebody in Los Angeles have a GS-911......

Post by Gatuso »

My "Service" reminder came on the other day, and my bike only has 3,300 miles, dealer wants 35.00 to re-set the reminder or do an "Annual Service" for about 320.00 bucks .......well I do my own maintenance it's just that I don't have 349.00 bucks right now to buy a GS-911 (299.00 for the USB version and 49.00 for a connector)................so if somebody in the Los Angeles area can spare a few minutes with my bike..................of course I'll ride my bike to your house.

You may be asking for more than you think. The enthusiast version can only register on up to 10 VINs for service-related functionality so I'm pretty sure resetting service reminder would burn up one of those spots. Doesn't apply to the pro version, or ask around at other BMW shops - they may be willing to 'good will' you a reset.
