Lurking has to stop. Have enjoyed this sight for awhile now and decided to make the first step. 3 weeks ago I found my first modern BMW love toy in the form of a 2004 R1150R. Madness came over me and I purchased this fine, well taken care for and spec'ed out machine. Makes my R65 seem like a Radio Flyer, albeit a wonderful wagon it is. Having lusted for this exact bike for awhile, I have to say it is exactly what I wanted and even got my GF a helmet as she wants to ride this.."sexy machine". Works for me.
At 6'2'', I find the pegs a little high and am wondering if someone out there may have a set they may want to trade for a set of Motolights. This is not set in stone that I want to get rid of them, or that I want peg extentions, but I can see it as a possibility. I am I south Louisiana and look forward to traveling with the bike and hope to meet some of yall one ride.
