I, too, have Progressive through USAA. I'm not sure if the USAA connection keeps it lower, but my insurance went down from last year and I just renewed one week ago. I was going to mention checking BMWMOA (they have a connection to a m/c insurance co. - presumably there is a discount). I don't know how they would compare to Geico, but they may still be worth looking into. Of course, you probably have to be a BMWMOA member, so there's that cost to consider.
