I was looking forward to the bash, but the dates clash with the already reserved dates for the Myrtle Beach bike week rally. It's like I just got sucker punched in the gut. Hopefully the 2 days of demo rides will take away some of the sting. Have fun and someone post some pics.

I am probably in! Haven't gone to a bash since Arkansas. Tennessee is much more convenient for me since I moved to Georgia last year. I will make reservations tonight!

I totally forgot to make reservations so I tried tonight. Believe it or not, the Best Western is full for those nights. I was surprised. I made reservations at the Holiday Inn which is close by.

Thanks for the heads up! Best Western Harriman is either closed, in renovation, or booked solid from March through August. Might be the TVA clean-up crews in town or it might be nothing.

How about a head count of any who already have a confirmed reservation at Harriman Best Western?

opps. I did my usual procrastination. Best Western full? I have no reservation as yet. Might have to check out the Holiday Inn.

Ditto...

I HAVE discussed with Rob about splitting his room 3 ways with him and Jim. But not sure about that yet.

Maybe we should move the bash to the Holiday Inn if the Best Western is closed or booked for so long.

I booked my room a few weeks back and they seemed to have numerous rooms available at that time. If I am the only one staying there I will cancel and rebook a room at the next chosen location.

My son can't make it again this year so if anyone is interested I would be willing to share a room.

I will most likely be a "maybe" right up until it's time to pack and go. Depends upon other travel plans this year.

There's a high level Bash planning conference convened in a penthouse suite somewhere in Appalachia as we write. This will soon be resolved I'm sure.

Are we thinking change of venue within the vicinity?

No. Investigations conducted at the ad hoc Bash Conference revealed this was a hoax, probably perpetrated by the F800 crowd. There actually still are rooms available at the Best Western in Harriman. You just have to call the motel location reservation desk, and not rely on the internet availability reports.

boxer, you realize of course, that an Appalachia penthouse suite is called a 'double wide'?

And apparently, the info is correct. Call the BW directly for rooms.

Well, somebody needs to publish the local desk number and hours of operation. Please.
And somebody (Jeff, Phil, Vann, Wayne) might ask them to hold several rooms at their base rate until March 31 or some such so Board miscreants can forcastinate making their reservations.

Just sayin'

Its done! I made my reservations and asked her to block out 10 rooms until March 31st. They are being held under the group name of 'BMW Bash', so tell them that when you call, so they can mark them off. After March 31st, you are on your own!

Desk number is 865-882-6200. Don't know the hours.

Call now!

I'd say you should call for a room.
