DIY Seat Mods

Hi gang

Well I have to say that having fabbed up and fitted bar risers and peg-lowering blocks I am VERY happy with the 850... now for the seat!

This is the first Beemer I have owned where I have not found the seat to be ideal... it seems to come up too much at the front, bit like a horse saddle I suppose, and causes "pressure points" where I'd rather it didn't!

Now I am NOT going to take out another mortgage to go buy a custom job from the US because by the time it gets here it goes into the category of "silly money" so, has anyone modificed their seat? I have found a brilliant web site that details the best method for doing this yourself but wondered if anyone had already modded an R1100R or 850R seat and what exactly you changed to improve it's "sittability"
