Beakster Bash British Columbia! (Canada)

Post by possum »

Its just an idea.. in the making. The West Kootenays Has beautiful scenery and lots of twisty road, and lake side camping spots.
It would be a long haul for many of you, just to get here,So i was thinking summer 2011..Lots of time to plan... If it could happen. I am sure it could be an every 4 year event....

What do you guys think?

I absolutely love the idea. I can't quite commit...as there is quite a bit of time between now and 2011. But, I would certainly make an effort to do it. A foreign land like Canada by motorcycle...it sounds so exotic.
I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray...

If I trade in my Beakster for a DL650, will I still be welcome?
(Just kidding but you never know . . . )

sounds wonderful

June? July? August?

Could it be May or September? Those of us riding from hotter climes might roast in mid summer

Sounds like a blast. I live on Vancouver Island, so not far for me to travel.

Love the idea, count me in.

A flurry of business and family priorities prevented much motorcycling this year, and I flaked out on the West Coast R1150R Fest I'd suggested at springtime.

Your idea fulfills the vision of a western gathering. Let's do it.

It would be before july...or after august...because of the heat, but more importantly TRAFFIC.
