So the most recent Oil article posted by Boxermania got me thinking. If I were to install an oil pressure gauge on a 2004 1150R, where and how would I do that.
CycleRob's oil temp gauge install is not applicable (I do not think it is anyway) so has anyone done a oil pressure gauge install on their bike?
Thanks in advance for your time.

No, but been thinking about it and doing a little research, biggest problem is mounting.
After asking, finally found out the stock sender is about at the 2:00 position from the
oil level sight glass.

That's a link to the smallest gauges I could find - they're 1-1/2", and in a small panel that looks to be pretty
well enclosed. Don't know about mounting room or location. The water temp gauge could be used for
oil temp.
Other than that, it's 2-1/6" gauges with exposed backsides that would have to be enclosed and weather
proofed somehow.

I think that the summit kit could be attached to the center of the handlebar or to the handlebar supports. If you want oil pressure alone a 2 1/6 gauge can go in place of the stock clock.Just a thought.

Yeah, I saw the write-up on that (oil press or temp gauge in place of the clock) but I need to keep the clock
cuz I work starting 5pm and when I got for a ride, I need to keep close tabs on my time. (I work Sat's & some
Sun's too).
Plus I'd like ot have both oil temp & oil pressure info.
I agree w/possibility of mounting that small gauge panel to the handlebars between the mounts,
I'm getting setbacks so that would make a little more room for the key behind the panel.
That's the only thing I've seen so far, will keep looking.
