i recently had one of my quick disconnects break on my 01 r1150r. got replacements from beemer boneyard. good deal. after reconnecting i cannot get the bike to fire. i had the fuel lines separated for almost a week. do i need to prime something? did the fuel pump drain? i have fuel in the tank.
any thoughts would be good.

A few things to check...............Is the fuel pump reconnected and can you hear it whine when you turn on the ignition? You should hear it turn on and build up pressure and then shut off. If the pump makes a loud raucous whining then there is possibly a fuel line restriction or partially disconnected quick disconnect. If you don't hear any pump sound at all check things like the kill switch, side stand switch and neutral safety switch. If any of these things are not operating properly it will not allow the ignition to fire.

As far as I know you shouldn't need to prime anything other than to make sure there is fuel in the tank which you say you have. Are the quick disconnects connected to the right lines? If they were somehow swapped that would cause your problem as well.
Don't mean to ask questions that seem silly or elementary but sometimes the simplest items trip us up. (Me--Been there....done that)

One or both of the quick connects are not fully seated, so the check valve is not open.

Once the o-rings are exposed to air, they swell a bit, take them appart and use a bit of dish washing soap to lubricate the o-rings. Snap the quick connects back and start the bike.....Voila!!!!

Sometimes if you try to start the bike without the quick disconnects together or fully seated so that the QD valve is open, the fuel pump will put a lot of pressure into the closed system and blow a hose off the fuel pump inside the tank. Otherwise known as "dead heading the fuel pump". It can be a bear to figure out. If you take an injector off and it isn't spraying, that might be the problem. DAMHIK
