Photo of the High Seat and Rack.

Post by Mark »

OK - it's not all about the looks but I am curious to see what the high seat looks like.
I think it will make the bike more comfortable for me (6'1") but I am unable to see an R1200R with one fitted.
I have heard some comments that the shape is not very comfortable and that concerns me from two sides - comfort and appearance.
I would have assumed that the high seat would have a similar side to side profile and just be raised.

Does anyone have a picture of the R12R with a high seat or if you own a bike with one, could you please post a couple of pictures?

I am equally interested in what the bike looks like with the rear rack fitted.
I have an F800ST with the rack and think it looks great. Very practical too. Not certain I've seen one without it.
But the R12R is such a great looking bike as it is, I am loathed to put more "stuff" on to it that may take away from it's sexy looks.
I can see a picture of the rack only on the BMW site but not fitted.

So, photos, photos, photos, please please please. Or stock fotos (but I can't find any on the web).

That looks better than I thought it would. Also the tinted screen looks nice too.

OK - anyone got one of the high seat!
