highway pegs

Post by zeke »

I am considering adding some pegs so that my legs can stretch out. Has anyone used or heard things about the pegs made by Hawks Products International (http://www.hawksproducts.com). They have a whole bird of prey theme going throughout the product line. The pegs are called Talons, varying in size, eagle talons are the largest....you get the idea. Bird concept aside....suggestions. Thanks Zeke

They look pretty neat. Especially with the PIAA lights. My only concern would be not having a backrest, though, to counter the forward foot position. I think it would depend on how tall you are. But I'm just guessing here.

I believe I read that someone was concerned these put too much stress on the valve cover retaining bolts...I believe this was mentioned in a thread on this forum a few years ago. You might try searching the archives with your thread title.
