I have not posted in this yet, so here goes. Here is a shot I like. It should look familiar and my helmet is mercifully still on!
A favorite for the obvious reasons (blue sky and the mountains) and not-so-obvious reasons (a shared ride with two friends.)

Here is a pic of my morning commute today. This is the Old Seneca Turnpike between Marcellus and Mottville in central NY near Syracuse.

Those are pretty good pictures for a cell phone camera, and it looks like a nice commute.tekxtc wrote:Here is a pic of my morning commute today. This is the Old Seneca Turnpike between Marcellus and Mottville in central NY near Syracuse.
I could take a picture of I-80 in Paterson NJ, near an abandoned factory, but it's not quite the same.

Technology keeps getting better and better - My first digital camera in 1999 was 1.3 megapixels, the cellphone has the same quality now.rdsmith3 wrote:Those are pretty good pictures for a cell phone camera, and it looks like a nice commute.
Upstate NY is pretty beautiful along the country roads. Only gripe is that I ride between mid April and mid October (barring occasional days outside of these dates)

Well it took a ride out to the Endless Mountains in PA, for the Beakster Bash V, but here's me and my Rock. Thanks for the picture, Marty!

That's my big dumb arm over a top case full of rain gear that I didn't put on later that day.
What a dope!

Daryl_stamp - Where did you get that awesome fairing/windshield? I just bought my first R1150R (2004) and love it. Would like to have a small sporty windscreen.
Re: Please post your best photo of you and your bike.
Jeff C, Its a Fallert. I dont think they're readily available in th U.S. though. I asked him about that before. It is sharp!!

Re: Please post your best photo of you and your bike.
It's a Fallert from Germany.
Wobbles like a leaf in the wind.
Looks mondo dorko from the front,

But way too cool from the side.

It was on the bike when I bought it. The previous owner ordered in from Germany and had a local body shop paint it to match.
I just looked online, this was all I found and it's just for the clear section, not the lower 'fairing'.

DLS
