I did 1200 miles in February on a stock seat and was surprised at how comfortable it was. I'd probably still explore a Sargent, but that's based on my previous positive experiences with them.

I know it can be hit and miss w/ Corbin, but I had one on my V-Rod and was happy with it and my wife has one on her R1200C and likes it as well.

I wanted to go for the Sargent, just to try something new, but I don't want to send in my seatpan and wait for weeks.
If it doesn't work out I'm out a perfectly good (though not extremely comfortable) stock seat, plus lost riding time in the summer.
