Found some old pics.
1987, Red Bud Motocross National. "Burnt Rice".
1988, best hole shot ever. Never got one but did not stop me from winning.

That top picture bears a remarkable resemblance to Jerry Reed. (what's that in your hand?)
I wish I had done some dirt riding back in the old days. Looks like a helluva good time!

Boxer, you know what was in my hand. I just can't remember the brand!
Who is "Jerry Reed"?
Boxermania, 263 was 17 years old then so I don't think that was you.
SJ, I just woke up and there it was all "toasted".

You might remember Jerry Reed as the insulting opposition football coach in Adam Sandler's Waterboy.
Most know him as a big country music star.
The likeness is striking.

I won tickets to a Waylon Jennings concert years ago and Jerry Reed opened for him. I will tell you this - he is a heck of guitar picker too!
I like the old pictures! We had a thread on the old forum with 'old' and 'new' pictures of us and our rides. I enjoyed that!

Quite right. Made by Aermacchi of Italy. H-D was trying to have something in their line to compete with the flood of Hondas at the time.
My leg was so black and blue from the kick starter, that my next bike was a Honda... with a magic button.

Nice! I remember my friends dad had a Sears model that looked like that Sprint, just can't remember back 40 years so well.
Well after a little googling it now comes back to me.
Sears/Gilera was the bike.

My first bike was a Sears Sabre (Puch) 50cc..I could beat a cub 50 and that's all that mattered on my block.
