Erik, Looks like you've dropped some serious coin on your scoot this winter. Nicely done. Where did you buy your remus can, as long as we're prying. I really like the carbon, I think it's a good compliment to the bike. Best regards

Re: Rick Mayer Saddle
Mayer Saddle was about $500.00 would have been $150.00 less in vinyl.. I bought the Remus directly form Max Moto http://www.maxmoto.com/ I was sort of torn between the Hexacone and the Grand Prix.. I decided the Grand Prix was a bit more old school in shape which matched the bike a bit better.. I think...
Re: Rick Mayer Saddle
I also had a Rick Mayer saddle made this Winter. Did you request the stiching on the passenger section? Mine is plain, which is fine by me. In fact, I asked him to make that section as flat as possible since I occasionally bungee stuff on there.
Is your stock height? Mine is the equivalent of the BMW tall seat, which gives me enough leg room.

Re: Rick Mayer Saddle
I did request the stiching.. I thought leaving the passenger portion plain looked well too plain. As far as the shape off the rear I left it stock ,no change. I was using a small strap on bag on the passenger area of the OEM seat. I tried attaching this bag today and I was a bit worried about the straps maybe damaging the leather so I think I'll just use my hard bags if I need to carry any stuff. I've only got maybe a 150 miles on the seat and I think it'll break in nicely, and like you it sits me up a bit higher which is fine with me since I needed a bit more leg room. How do you find the comfort and fit of yours???

Erik, Nice seat - I'm goingt to do something with mine, but I may wait until Sargent figures out if they are or are not going to make a seat for the R12R.
Any chance you could post some more pix of the pipe?
Gracias

Erik,
It fits great. I thought the seat was stiff, but it has changed a little with riding and now it is as comfortable as can be.
