Hannigan or Parabellum?
Hello all, Just picked up my new R1200R. 2007 model leftover from the dealer. I want to put a fairing on and am deabting between the Parabellum Scout or the Hannigan Sport version. Any thoughts, opinions? Pictures would be very helpful. I am 5'7", 28" inseam and have the low seat. If you have either, how do they feel, issues, etc? I am leaning towards the Scout, reminds me of the old S fairings but with better protection. Thanks in advance, Guy

This is mine...a Parabellum Scout fairing. I am 6ft 180# and 32 inside leg. I have two screens, the one shown is a 20 inch screen , my line of vision is above the fairing and it deflects the wind well. With no side bags or top box its streamlined and I can get as much as 58mpg (computer), but with bags it drops down to around 50mpg.

Guy - this is a case where searching a bit will turn up LOTS of info. There are a number of us (actually a LOT of us) who have gone though not only those fairings - but also lots of shields.stogiepuffer wrote:Hello all, Just picked up my new R1200R. 2007 model leftover from the dealer. IMHO - the Hannigan is an answer to a question no one wanted to ask.. but to each his own..
