Even Better Than The 2008 Seat!

Post by peckhammer »

I asked questions about aftermarket seats here recently. I am glad that I didn't buy one. Instead, I had a custom seat made, which looks great. I used the opportunity to record footage for a video podcast. I will not have time to put that together until I return mtravelling, but I did put together a short trailer:

Watch the R1200R seat be transformed into a masterpiece that fits my butt perfectly. Ahhh... but in order to see the final leather-clad result, you'll have to wait until I finish the editing.

Very cool. Can't wait to see the finished product mounted to the Roadster.
Ahh the bikes I've ridden. So many bikes, so little time!

How much is it and could they used the original anti sliding vinil cover instead of leather ?? (I mean, in order to make it a more stock r1200r look...)

1.) http://www.richscustomseats.com/
2.)Rich's Shop is Located at 10003 Aurora Ave North, Seattle, WA 98133, Toll Free (866) 328-9774, [email protected]
3.) http://www.richscustomseats.com/pricing.asp and yes, they can do vinyl.

I originally planned to use vinyl until I saw, and sat on some of the leather seats in the shop. The final results are fantastic. I came in at 9:30 AM and was able to ride home on a new seat by 4:30 PM.

Far out Peckhammer
Those guys do a top job! and great service too. Gel + leather, I hope you get many long and comfortable miles on your new seat. Too bad I'm on the other side of the world or I'd be using them too.
Regards Mick
