Trying to figure out what this piece is on my RR. Its on the right side near the rear tire. It was hanging down the middle and rubbing on my rear tire, but I'm assuming thats not where its supposed to go. So I placed it in the cable tray as illustrated in the photo. What is it and what does it do?

That's where you bleed the cluch fluid from. It's normally wrapped in a foam tube and zip tied up near the edge of the seat.
