Guzzi 1200 sport Versus R1200R video on Youtube

Post by LeonardoNYC »

I kind of agree with most of what the chap says except for the last part where he says if you choose with your heart you may choose the Goose and that the goose is all about character which I think is a nice way of saying.."well the bike's expensive and kind of mushy and not all that fast, but hey if you like that in a bike then it's the bike for you!"

Guzzi Griso 8V

Post by Dan-A »

Maybe they compared the wrong Guzzi.

Page 32 of the Dec 07 Cycle World I just received has a short take on the newly revised Griso.

(A similar writeup also here online: http://www.cycleworld.com/article.asp?s ... cle_id=497 )

Supposedly has a "real" 106 hp along with a number of other new century refinements.

From the pics it looks like they may have toned down the huge back pipe which was rather garish on the ones I saw at the dealership.

I would still prefer the BMW, but I've always had a soft spot for Moto Guzzis, and would enjoy a test ride.
