Interesting --- Is there any downside to listing your VIN, location,accesories etc. on the internet?

It would be fun knowing where the bikes made before or after mine ended up.

I didn't list my whole VIN - just the last bit. I had my K1200RS and my K1200S listed while I owned them. It's a useful resource to people thinking of buying - you get a great overview of model-related issues etc.
