Condensed version; ate & slept in Williamsport PA, new hotel, old restaurant.
Great beer, good food, excellent host.

Gratuitous food shots for DJ (I'm still working on my indoor skills).

In the morning we went to Centrailia, PA's modern ghost town over a burning coal mine (burning since the 60's). Some ADVrider technique thrown in to get over the berm much to the disenchantment of MLW.

A church for Gypsy.

Classic cleft in the road with smoke coming out.

Where the road takes a sharp turn away from where it used to go.

Where the road used to go.

That berm was a piece of cake.

But check out the little yellow marker. Warning, Gas Pipeline (over a burning coal mine, duh).

Centralia does still have a fire department and a municipal building. It's about the only thing that actually says 'Centralia'.

We went on a tour of a coal mine on the other side of the valley. Labor was organized for a good reason.

We made it down to my Grandson's house early enough to have dinner together and do some spoiling.
More for the next day; coming up; a trip to Bobs BMW, riding through DC on Route 1, meeting a real ADVrider, Manassas, Skyline Drive and finally Charlottesville, home of the hotel clerks with defective attitudes (and a few other things).
